Oh I'm a nurse who used to work in a nursing home before becoming a SAHM. I've come across some gorgeous old names that you just don't hear anymore! However I just can't think of any of the top of my head lol.
My grandmothers were named Babette (Elizabeth) and Beryl Grace. One of my DH's was named Gladys.

My grandmother was Elaine and her mother was called Hazel. My DD has Hazel as a middle name as my g.grandmother was very special to me.

One of DH's grandmothers was Eileen and the other is Phylis.

My nanna's were Neta, Grace, and Colleen (stepnan). When we found out we are having a girl we decided on the name Alice and when i told my dad he was pretty chuffed, i asked him why and he said that was his mums name. I said i thought your mums name was Grace (which we also liked) and he said that her name was Alice Grace but everyone called her Grace. She died when he was young so i had no idea!

Alice is meant to be i think

    Ours were:

    Zora on my dad's side
    Connie on my mum's side

Zora is my Julia's middle name and if we have a girl, hopefully Connie will be her middle name too.

Mine were Pamela (Pam) and Barbara (Barb). Also had great-aunts Mary & Marlene.

I'm not using either of my grand-parent's names, but my Dad & brother and DH's dad all have James as a middle name so we'll use that as a middle name for a boy. Plus DH's mum's name is Mary and that just happens to be my Mum's middle name, so we'll use Mary as a middle name for a girl. Made it very easy for us!
