    Yay a babywearing thread!

I started out with a bubba moe and a HAB with DD1. The bubba moe was too hard to adjust and the HAB was too hot for a summer bub. While pregnant with DD2 I did some research and I now have 4 wovens and 2 ring slings. I've decided I need another ring sling to keep in DH's car after I got caught without a carrier on the weekend so am thinking of getting one of my wovens converted.

I was a financially responsible person last night.

My bestie offered me first dibs on the obimama that I sold to her but dh said no

So instead of ignoring him like I usually do (haha!) I said to put it on the buy and sell page. Broke my heart!

    Oh well.....

Was a night for Obi's last night. They always seem to come in waves (:

MadB Im not really sure what I mean, but I find it really hard to adjust unless it is in a really specific place, which limits the way I seem to be able to wear her.
I also think it's got too much gather which is what makes it stuck, but can't fix that!
Ill have to see if there is any meets in the area. Hmmm

so many tempting things on bwbs, lucky i have about $5 in my account or i would have gone on a serious spending frenzy in the last 48hrs!! im in the process of convincing DH he needs that FB so we dont need to cart the pram around and then i will need a stretchy wrap or appropriate woven for the little pickle when they arrive... i could also use another wrap that isnt my jim that is longer (sz 6) than SBF cos even tho its a 5 and im only a size 10 it seems to be too short for the carries i want to do? maybe cos its thicker than jim? desperate to get to thursday and get jim back from SIL! im having withdrawls!!

Thank heavens I didn't know about that. I really *need* to not spend money.

AP - I'm selling my Jim I just find wrapping too hot in Brissy. The only thing that ever wasn't was a Vat 3. And I stupidly sold it.

AP - I think it's going to cool down again by Thursday. But I can understand how you'd miss Jim. I sold mine because I have him in a RSWC and wasn't too confident with wrapping so would just reach for the RS instead. But now that I'm getting the hang of wrapping I wish I'd held on to it for a little longer.

I mastered a ruck tied under butt with DD2 today. I tried to tie in the front but DD2 didn't like that. As soon as I put the knot under her bum, she went to sleep. I even went for a walk down to the shops and she didn't budge. Got lots of positive comments from the ladies at the post office too

Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!! My new Beco Butterfly 2 is here It's so pretty, and fits DH too, which was the reason we bought it. Going to try a back carry tomorrow too, as I need to go shopping for DD's birthday.

AP - a well loved but not too diggy Vatanai. And my solarveil MT. That's it. They're my sweaty day go-tos. But in general, I find wraps too hot. Don't know if it's the Brissy humidity or what, but wrapping is just annoying me. DD doesn't have heaps of patience for it either - a ruck under bum is our favourite carry because it's so quick!

    TC- that'd be right!
Audax- I've heard amazing things about the solar veil, never actually seen one tho. Where did you get it from?

It's a Melkaj, so originally from Poland. I suspect it got here via the UK, and I bought it second hand. It's so lovely. The summer that DD was born was viciously hot, and she's a sweaty Betty, as am I, so it was a godsend. AND Melkajs are supremely comfy. Worth every $$.

Yippee! My backpack and suck pads have arrived for the ergo - looks like I can use them with the beco too. Took the beco out for a shopping trip, DS spent a good while looking around being nosey before falling asleep Didn't manage the back carry though, might have to practice at home with some youtube vids

this might be a good "investment" for us, DH is Dutch and doesn't handle anything over 30 very well and DS is very similar. Im ok, im always cold! Do you think it would fit a tall man who has massive shoulders and ribcage? *toddles of to google*

My Didy black and white sz 4 arrived today and I can do a great double hammock with it. Looks classy, will go well with some of my more conservative clothes.

Now just waiting on my new RS and the gorgeous Didy Papillon I just bought because I *had* to. Anyone on the FB group can check out how pretty it is!
