Slings for the older child

Are there any slings that are designed for the older child (over 15kg mark) or is it just presumed that by that weight/age range they will walk independently?

Am currently using the peanut shell but getting close to the weight restriction with that one...

ergo goes to 18kg. I carry my 4 year old on my back in the ergo, no worries. (she is maybe 14 kg).

I can comfortably carry my 4 year old (18 kg) in my beetlebum half buckle or full buckle.

You will find most SLINGS aren't designed to carry older/heavier children, you will need to switch to a mei tei style carrier, like the ones the girls mentioned above.

I use and Ergo still occasionally for my 3 year old, she is 14kgs.

I used a mei-tei 'ToddlerHawk' for my youngest till he was 13kg, but could have worn him longer if he let me LOL. The Toddlerhawk was rated to carry a toddler up to 40lbs I think - so 20kgs, which is huge.
