It's possible that the yeast infection that your DD got was not as a result of the injection as such, but that her immune system was compromised by the vacc and it allowed a yeast infection to form. You don't have to get her the vacc if you don't want to - simply explain your concerns and get a conscientious objection form, or you can pre-empt any yeast infection by making sure she eats lots of pro-biotic rich food (like vaalia or jalna yoghurt or even giving her a probiotic) before and after the vacc to make sure that she is has optimum gut health.
I believe that the MMR (12months) is more likely to cause complications than the varicella (CP - 18months). As with any vaccination, the choice is yours as to what to do.
Because I am so anti vaccine at the moment (because I believe DD2's allergies were from vaccine) I will be holding off on chicken pox. DD1 didnt' have it until she was 8 years (her choice) and I think I'll wait with the next bub. I just they have enough vaccine's and their systems are so immature. You could put it off even for a year.
Also we take probiotic poweder. Lactobac. You could give this before and after if that is a concern.
Trillian- its a yeast allergy- not infection. If it were only an infection, I wouldnt worry too much, but she cant eat yeast as it makes the area around her mouth go red and oozes.

Ah, OK. Here is a PDF for the Varilrix vaccine (Chicken pox) http://www.gsk.com.au/resources.ashx...I_Varilrix.pdf and it includes the list of ingredients. If there is something in there that she is allergic too, then I wouldn't be getting her vaccinated at all.
I held off on Jacks and will give it to him around 10 years, childhood chicken pox usually isn't to bad...the vaccine only lasts 10 years so they will need a booster in their teens
not to freak you out or sway you either way..chicken pox is the only one I have a problem with ok
but in its either Japan or china I think its japan google it you will find the article...have been vacinating for 25 + years and they are finding above average hugely so incidents of shingle in people in late teens early 20's who were all vaccinated and haven't had chciken pox
now you normally only get shingle if you have had chicken pox and then normally after you 50's
