18mo and nappy changes

I have this great app on my phone called toddler lock. they can push the screen and it makes sweet tinkle noises and every touch makes a new shape in a new color- NOT great if they gonna throw the phone though.
Never thought of asking- I have always told lol Feel like Ms Bossy mummy now

cloth. there's a knack to it, though. And they have to stand still for x number of seconds.

Also offering a choice of colour nappies helped. Or maybe a choice of colour pants/socks/toy to play with, if using sposies? Or they can pick which book they would liek to read after changing the nappy.

I think the nappy change thing is largely about autonomy. They want to exert control over themselves and their bodies - so giving them a simple choice can help them feel they have control over something (just 2 options is better at this age).
