    Mine were over a year before they stopped breastfeeding overnight, and they didn't sleep through the night until....well they still don't some nights and they will be 4 next month. But probably 2 before they ever did it. I feel your pain with the tiredness though, it's very hard.

    Thanks i wasnt worried about it until a fill in MCHN was disgusted that they were still waking as many times as they do and because they dont have huge naps during the day and telling me i was doing something wrong and to stop BFing as its obvious they need more blah blah blah i could have slapped her, its not like we arent coping the way things are.

    ^^ Don't listen to the MCHN! You are doing a great job! My 4 yo doesn't always 'sleep through', last night she woke numerous times then come in & slept with us.....

    Yep, I agree with the pp's. Totally normal, you're lucky even! My 11mth old wakes anywhere between 2-10 times a night (unfortunately no, I'm not joking). My 3yr old, 1-3 times a night, my 4 1/2yr old maybe 0-2 times a night , but not every night. So I pretty much live in a sleep deprived haze and have since DD was born! If you really think about it, even before you had kids, I bet you woke up most nights too!

    3LM i can relate - last night between 2am and 6am I counted 14 times i was up and that was just the twins as I was feeding them DH had to get up to DD2 who had wet her bed
