Not at all! As hard as it is, for them, we are their whole world. We give them 99% of their needs - comfort, food etc and if bubs has a bit of reflux, then all she will want is to be held. It's normal for them to have a 'preference' because we know what to do to make them feel comfortable kwim? If you don't already have one, you should really consider getting a sling or carrier so she can be close to you but you also have your hands free to do other things. Having her in a carrier will also help her with the reflux too.

Never too young for that! My DD did that then and still does now!

There's nothing better than the mummy loving

Thanks girls, I guess maybe it's not too young! I don't remember my other two starting this early, they were happy with DH. I wasn't able to BF the other two but I am still feeding Miss P (yay for us!) so maybe that's why she wants her mumma and no one else will do?

I do have a sling - a selection of them! I have a bad back though and find I can't wear any of them for more than an hour or two at a time. I put a sling on DH about 1/2 hour ago and... so far we have sleep! Well, napping anyway she squirms and grunts every time I speak!!

    Thanks for the advice.

Just saw this thread now. My DD also became more clingy to me around the age of 2 months. I remember her crying with DH and anyone else who tried to hold her. It was a hard time with DH feeling rejected and other people getting upset and not being understanding. It did last a very long time with my DD too. And even now at 2 years old she's still very attached to me and will choose me over DH. She's also very cautious with new people. But over time she has become comfortable with people she sees regularly.
