Air conditioning and toddlers... what temp?

I know the sids reccomendations are 16-20degrees for room temp (which i think is freezing lol).

HOwever it is so hot now during the day that if i dress DD in a singlet and shorties she is sweating during her day sleep.

What temp do you use for the aircon during the day. ATM i have it set to 24 on the lowest fan setting....

I try to run heating on 22 degs...and cooling on about 18 degs...

DD2 room sits on about 20 degs all year round (well the last 10.5 months of her life anyhow).

I see you are in BrisVegas too. I see on the TV ads they recommend setting the aircon to 24degrees. We found that very comfortable last summer when DS was a newborn. We tried to get the room down to 18degrees and it was like a freezer and imagine how much energy it would take to get the room that cold and keep it that way.

We have the girls room set at 24 degrees, and our room is set at 22. They sleep well with 24 degrees, and they usually just have a wondersuit on.

Babies can become overheated quite easily, compared to adults. 18degrees to a baby is not really cold compared to us. To us, it's cold!
It's recommended babies rooms are 18 degrees. But I would say anywhere between 20-22 sounds nice.
