I'm hoping it will make my kids sleep longer. We get up at 5am most days. I refuse to get out of bed at 4am. They can kick and scream and cry, I don't care. I WILL NOT get out of bed at 4am. Hopefully they will realise this and sleep til at least 6am.....hopefully

YES! I am dreading it too! I think I've got weeks of DS waking up at 5am. These days it doesn't matter what time he goes to bed he still wakes up at 6am, so I'm thinking it might take us a while...

Dreading it here too... DD1 wakes anytime b/w 6 and 7.
Am also hoping i can keep her up til say 8pm and then she might sleep longer but normally it wont matter what time she's in bed.
Hopefully it stays nice and dark and cold and she will want to snuggle her blanket and go back to sleep.

Wont make too much dif with DD2 as she still just does her feed every 3hrs during the day so no routine yet, which is good.. no routine to stuff up...

Yup. I am dreading it big time. Last winter, DD didn't adjust AT ALL. ALL normal time she got up at 0545... over Summer we can get 0645 - 0700. It didn't matter WHAT I tried, she still woke at the same time. I'm hoping that now she understands the sun is still asleep, she might stay in bed.... otherwise, I plan to seek revenge when she hits her teenage years

Yes I am DREADING it!! I thought about eeking DS out with his dinner etc leading up to this weekend but he wouldn't have a bar of it
Lately he's been wanting his dinner between 4:30-5pm, will NOT wait any longer & it's been a stretch to hold him out for 5pm. Then he's been wanting bed really early too, 6pm at the latest. He still wakes at least once through the night then has been rising at 7am - no later eeeek!!
So I guess we're in for 3:30-4pm dinner, bed at 5pm then up at 6am? Oh no...

Yes as DD's sleeping is completely over the shop at the moment, and as much as I want DLS to end, it isn't going to help DD's wake up time

It doesnt matter what time my kids go to bed tehy always wake up at the same time, so Im guessing its not going to make much of a difference.

I personally hate daylight savings with a passion becuase my kids wont go to bed at night if its light. Its not so bad ATM but in the height of summer its a nightmare.

    I wasn't so scared...but now I am!

My big two usually adjust pretty quickly but I'm worried about bub who isn't sleeping well these days
