Hollo - same reason as why some people like english humour, and others like american humour. It's just part of them. I had Will sleeping lots from birth, but that was cause he wasn't getting enough milk and needed all his energy to get milk from me. As long as your baby is sleeping, eating and being alert, and putting on weight, that's the main thing. Just go with the flow and for me, it means less stress and more enjoyment.
