MiMo, I have the foot problem with jumpsuits too but I have noticed that the US brands like Carters have big feet. Maybe if you have a US connection or enjoy online shopping you can get some sent over.
I partly agree with Lucy that you don't need to buy alot of clothes beforehand becuase you will be given so many but on the other hand I really think that you should have heaps of clothes because they get them grotty amazingly fast and the more clothes you have the less often you have to do a load of washing and in those early days the less housework to do the better.
Don't buy clothes to far in advance because you can't predict that they will fit at the right time. When I was pregnant I bought a lovely winter onesie in size 0 that was on special. Now I think that it will fit Yasin perfectly in the middle of summer #-o .
Light colours don't show the spew. Dark colours don't show the grime on the knees and toes that they pick up when they start crawling.
Hand me downs are great, I use mine around the house and save his nice outfits for going out.
Once they start on solids you can't have too many bibs. I bought a heap of second hand ones at an op-shop. We use those ones at home and nice ones when we're out.
Those outfits with matching everything often don't all fit at once. I got a newborn one. The onsies and jacket fitted, the hat was too big, the booties and mittens were too big and we didn't need the bib until he started dribbling. The hat fits now so he has a matching hat and bib.
Because I'm planning on having more children I like neutral colors because I can use them again regrdless of which gender number two is.
Wraps should be really big. They wriggle out of small ones way tooo fast.
