Hannah has been given 3 Baby Einstein DVDs. She's too young for the "Baby Neptune" one and doesn't seem interested in it at all (it's not targeted at her age group), but she also has the Right Brain and Left Brain ones (thanks Ambah!). She is transfixed by the right brain one! She sits in her high chair (fully tilted back) to watch it. I only have her in front of it for 10 mins at a time though..her attention span is pretty short at this age. I am sure she is learning something though - even if it's just enjoying the classical music and watching the pretty colours and movement. Haven't tried out the Left brain one yet however.

Not sure about the baby einstein toys, but Hannah has a couple of cool leap frog toys that are also aimed at teaching them things at certain stages of development. She has "Baby Tad" which is a plush toy frog that plays and sing nursery songs, as well as classical music, and teaches shapes and colours; and she has the "Baby Counting Pal" - which is a catterpillar soft toy that teaches numbers, classical music (and even says the names of the composers before it plays the tunes) and teaches colours. It's designed for 3 months plus because it doubles as a stroller bar and has little things that hang of it that baby can play with (things that crinkle, and rattle etc). The songs that teach them colours are all played in different musical styles too - there's rock, opera, barbershop, jazz, and reggae. So cool. Hannah loves both of these, and we play with them together (I am learning to sing the songs!). You can imagine who is having more fun at this point though. I think Hannah just enjoys watching me enjoying myself!
