Hi, If you are worried about her knees just pop some light cotton pants on..

ps I notice you are from CQ. Where abouts in CQ are you? I am near Gladstone
Hi aussienic I was just thinking that long pants would do the job, thanks for that! I'm about 30mins out of Maryborough, only moved to QLD in January from perth. I think this state has the best weather. I don't think I'm a big fan of Maryborough itself though, I quite like Hervey Bay thats about 40mins from me. Where abouts is Gladstone, I've heard the name before, but have no idea where that is :0)

I love Hervey Bay.. It is just so nice. I love that jetty lol..

Living in Nth QLD ( well used to anyway)and Darwin I used stubby holders... just take the bottom of them and put them over the knee... I would use them if I was going to playgroup and knew baby would be on concreat....

BTW we love HVB BHL wants to move there next year but I am thinking of the sunshine coast as I know there wasnt much in HVB as in Playgrups and things....

aussienic That Jetty at hervey bay is so big, if I lived there I would walk it pushing the pram at least once a week, i would probably lose weight that way lol.

Hi Bathsheba It is a rip off isn't it! I'm glad I didn't buy any now :0)

Just spoke to my mum and she said that her friend used bigger size socks and cut the toe-ends off as knee protection. I thought that was a good idea

Hi tali I use to live in Darwin, I was born there and grew up there. I only left 3 years ago and moved to Perth. Perth got too expensive and the weather there was depressing, so after my little baby dd was born I moved here and I am so happy. Darwin is just to hot and there was nothing to do unless you loved fishing.

Sunshine Coast is really nice. Sometimes I wish I lived closer to the cities, out here can be a bit lonely and there is no good shopping centres close by.

You werent a Army brat by any chance were you sorry so many people are in Darwin because of the Defence its was why we were there... Darwins a funny place I couldnt wait to leave it but wanted to return as soon as we did... ( we move there 3 times ) As with Cairns you just get sick of the build up makes you go crazy....I am with you BHL wants lots land at HVB, But as much as I liked it there when we went I dont know if I could move there as I know there is many playgroups or mums groups to go to.... So thats why I have been thinking sunshine coast.... closer to the airport aswell...
