Moo Goo Milk Wash, love it love it love it!!! I use it myself as well. DS and me both have sensitive skin and get eczema and it works wonders, it's also natural which is great.
I put a few squirts in his bath and wash him with the water, I also use it as a shampoo for him and it leaves his hair beautifully soft.
I use the full-cream moisturising cream as a body lotion and nappy cream.
Yep sorbolene contains petrochemicals, it makes DS's eczema worse. But there are stacks of great natural options out there, visit your local health food store.
With our 3 babies we only ever used plain water or very safe products like MooGoo that have the same irritation factor as water. Never sorbalene, and NEVER Johnson & Johnson products *shudder*
I love MooGoo for myself too...even my teenage DD has been converted, she prefers it over Pantene now thankully! DH loves MooGoo shampoo too because it helps his psoriasis. The soaps a beautiful. MooGoo has an excellent website. Google Oh and it's Aussie owned and made.
we bath our girls in plain water, hair products are currently gaia but will get moogoo when it runs out, moisturiser is moogoo or simmons pawpaw salve for dry spots
I've used some of the Gaia products and they're good but DD has some sensitive skin and we were advised just to use plain water. I now undress her and rub QV wash into her skin like moisturiser before I bath her. It seems easier and her skin has improved. I use pawpaw ointment for nappy rash.
I have also just been told to put cheapo oatmeal into a stocking and use it as soap, apparently it gets creamy milky and you just replace the oatmeal every couple of days. Haven't tried it yet though.
Yep, I've used plain oatmeal in a stocking. It works. Takes a bit of getting used to after living a life with chemicals as cleansers but it is worth trying.
Olive where do you get your MooGoo in Melbourne? Their website only lists outer suburbs and country locations as stockists - is there anywhere in the CBD or inner north that sells it? Bathsheba oatmeal is the traditional old herbalists remedy for sensitive skin - it really works a treat doesn't it?
