Eliza is in daycare 2 days a week and exhibits the same behaviour .We can be in the supermarket and she will hug mainly other kids and wont let go...many of the kids are frightened to death and she comes hurling herself at them. At 2 it isnt a problem yet...at 3 it will be and especially if she wants to hug adults that we dont know.
Daycare for us has so many benefits, but I too am starting to crack down on the carrying and have asked if they dont pick her up while she is there.
