Can anyone recommend a great high chair????

We had a peg pegero given to us (after my girlfriend had her two boys use it). It did my 2 girls. So all in all did 4 kids. Was awful to clean though, but looked super comfy.

When Sam was ready for solids i got the ikea antilop. Got the blow up cushiony thing too. Man on man on man....it is the best $60 bucks ive ever spent. Perfect, perfect high chair.....dont waste your time on any other....seriously.......

FYI - The ikea chair does not have a 5 point harness, just a belt that clips around the waist. We have not had any issues with this.

I will 6th or is it 7th the Antilop Ikea chair!! Whenever we go to MOthers group at someones house I check out their chairs- naturally because Im usually having to give Iz lunch there, and the chairs- even though have been cleaned, are never, ever clean IYKWIM! The Ikea one literally comes up lke brand new after a clean - no hidden grotty bits of food hidden in the creases and straps!!! It is great to take away too because the legs come off so easily!
Good luck with it all but after researching and looking at lots of chairs(I initially wanted a "pretty one ) I highly recommend it too!!

I have a Prg Prerego Prima Pappa. It's done 3 of my kids plus 2 of BIL's and I'm sure it will survive my fourth child too. It's solid, folds up quite compact if you want to put it away in the cupboard or put it in the boot of the car and go visiting someone that doesn't have a highchair.
It stands up well to a 5 year old hanging off the tray. I wouldn't recommend the 5yo hanging off the tray too often but if it can survive that then it's well worth the $200 odd they cost.

The downside is that there are a few too many nooks and crannies for things to get suck in so it needs a good scrubbing every now and then.
