We also gave her a sleep night/day clock so she coud understand when she could get up, we gave tat o her t 18 months
i wonder if that would work for your DD ss_storm? your DD is a pretty bright little girl so she might really grasp the concept well?

we're quite lucky with DS these days but when he does wake before 6 i bring him into our bed or jump into his bed & tell him it's too early & we are going to lie quietly. it means that i'm up from whenever it is (because i can never get back to sleep) but i've given up trying to get him back to sleep if it's 5 or after.
