Hi - I have never heard of them. We were refered to a doctor who does them by my OB. My cousin also recommended the doctor who did her three boys, but he was booked out two months in advance ! You had to book in before you had the baby.
I am in Melbourne and went to a Dr. Goldman in Hampton Park.
I had my son circumsiced there a month ago. He is 3 years old and had a VERY tight forskin, so we actually encountered a few problems with the procedure. I have no hesitation in referring them to a new born standard procedure, but if you are having it done for medical reasons (the way we did) I'd consider getting it done under anaesthetic. I'm happy with the way his penis looks now that it's all over (as is he) but if I had have realised the way that they apply the numbing cream meant that his penis didn't effectively get numbed (foreskin too tight to let the cream through) I would have had it done while he was out of it.
They were very good and did the best that they could under the circumstances, and were great with follow up care. They have been doing it for 15 years or something.
Bottom line, I still think the plastibell system is a much better option than snip and stich. Me personally.
