Just wanted a bit of advice from anybody!!

My 14 month old has started to try and dive off the back of the couch! all the time!! We have an L shaped sofa so I can only push one side of it up against the wall.... he knows he's being naughty because he stops with one leg half up ready to leap off the back!!

I'm really worried he's going to hurt himself.... its a good foot from the top of the couch to the wooden floors! Everyone keeps telling me that he has to learn and that by falling off he will stop doing it but its really going to hurt when he hits the wooden floor!!

Has anyone else been in the same predicament and what have you done to prevent a bang!!
