Darker, Smellier Urine? (maybe TMI)

Hi Everyone

I have just noticed over the last 2 days that Scarlet's urine has turned a very bright yellow and has a very strong offensive smell now where as before it was like water with no smell, She is almost 3 months old - Is that normal? I haven't changed her formula or feeds.

No it is not normal.
Is she taking the same amount of formula?
Is she showing any sign of pain or discomfort when she wee's?
Does she have nappy rash that is getting worse?

Hi Alan ~ No, She doesn't seem uncomfortable at all, I haven't changed her formula and she has no nappy rash... Could it be because of the heat lately? I live in QLD and it has been very hot.
hm, I think we will see our GP tomorrow.

Yes it could be due to the heat. Try offering her more formula or even some cooled boiled water after her feed. I think a trip to the GP is a good idea.
