My Ds hair is VERY curly, he still doesnt have a lot, but what he does have is a bif tuft at the middle and the sides, DP says he looks like crusty the clown

I dont brush DS hair, the only time I will is after a once a week condition, I rinse his hair out every night in the bath (getting all the weetbix, yogurt etc..out) then once a week I just put a pea sized amount of conditioner in and comb through, then rinse.
I cant use shampoo on him as he just gets cradle cap, so water only, the conditioner doesnt seem to affect his scalp though.
TBH, its just too hard trying to get a comb or brush through it when wet or dry, then it frizzes, so I dont, and it looks fine.

ETA- had to add....DS usually ends up with dreds in the back, he tosses and turns that much at night, if/when it gets rather bad, I will do the conditioner thing that night. I will watch this thread for more ideas!!
