DD1 has LONG hair for her age but it curls up really tightly, all i have manged lately to do is put it up which doesn't help with your DS.. not sure he would like pig tails

Could you maybe try a bandana on him, i know he's young but he might like to wear something like that, keep it all under wraps... lol

Sorry prob no help, goodluck. I found i have to brush DD1's hair a couple of times a day, especially after meals... yoghurt is the WORST in curly hair...
