Constant battle for me as DD finishes kinder on Tuesdays and DS is often still asleep. But I wake him. In my mind, he is too old and too young to be left alone! If he were younger he wouldn't understand if I were gone when he woke up and if he were older I'd be infinitely more comfortable. But I'm not, so I don't.

I do at the petrol station, leave them in the car, but I try to avoid that, get petrol when DH is there too etc.
