    He doesn't do that but used to shake his head side to side like he was possessed. Lol

    Hopefully she will grow out of it, maybe she's teething, that could be why she does it when eating

    Yeah P does it when she is teething and/or doesn't like the texture of her food

    Yeah, sound normal to me. My DD does this kind of shudder thing that sounds similar, and also pulls weird faces, rolls her eyes or does big, exaggerated blinks, does weird crouching walking or funny little trots and skips as she runs... I think it's all just body experimentation and enjoying increasing awareness and control of movement and sensory experience. Gosh they're funny!!

    My toddler does this when she's getting upset or frustrated about something.

    Mine does this when strange people look at her, or just to be silly. We call it "fake scared".

    DD went thru the possessed stage! Like Santosha said, I think its all just them learning and experimenting with their bodies!

    rofl yes! Usually now accompanied by the thrusting forward of the bottom jaw and baring of the lower teeth in order to appear scary of make me laugh
