    Exclamation drinking water...

    is there such a thing of drinking too much???? sophie is obsessed with her new sippy cup and is probably dring around 300ml of water a day, plus 3 breastfeeds, is that too much or doesnt it matter???

    As long as sh'es not drinking it too quickly it shouldn't be a problem. I think the issue with water intoxication (I think that's what it is), is when you drink it too quickly. I know Zander's a lot bigger, but he'd probably drink around a litre of fluid (milk, water & juice) on a hot day.

    Yeah plus the weather has been alot warmer lately. I've noticed Ash drinking more too.

    It is called water intoxication. Well done.
    There is a slight chance that you could suffer from this if you are induced with a drip.
    The drug they use (syntocinon) has a slight antidiuretic effect (stops you getting rid of fluid). So if they have to give you a few bags of fluid or if you are drinking lots of water then you can get water intoxication.
