on my kids cradle cap is quite visual on the head and can go a lovely yellowy brown colour and doesn't brush or rub off peels off with the back of the fingernail style - so not flaky in the hair unless it has been scratched or scraped off.
Ethan has a bit of a dry scalp - any suggestions of what I can put on it? Also could it be cradle cap and what is the difference?

Loagn had cradle cap and dry skin when he was younger. I was bathing him in Johnson's products and they seem to dry him out lol. So i changed to using Natural Instinct Bath wash and Shampoo, ever since he has had no problems!

Oh ok, I think it must just be dry skin then because it is just white. Maybe I need to change products
Nah, just oil him up with some Extra Virgin Olive Oil from the kitchen, works a treat!
Cool thanks!
I use QV bath oil in my DS's bath and it stops his skin from drying out.
QV is great but have also discovered Gaia natural bath and shampoo etc and it has done wonders for DD's cradle cap. I haven't had to work at it much myself since using Gaia.
DS is prone to quite dry skin (and also had cradle cap YUCK!) and I always bath him in olive oil. If I want him to smell nice I add some lavender oil as well. I've had no problems with his skin since doing this, never need to use any moisturiser at all. Now that his hair is longer I use the Gaia baby shampoo, but that's it.
Thanks guys - I will try the olive oil tonight when we bath.
