I know it's hard when he seems to want to - does he roll that way himself? If you don't put him on his tummy he won't know any better. SIDS is such a horrible thing tha tI wouldn't risk it, even if it means having some sleepless nights to find a better way. Sorry if this doesn't help but I really wouldn't put him on his tummy.
