I sometimes let Flynn sleep on his tummy but only during the day where I can keep an eye on him.
My mum slept all 4 of her kids on their tummies and no dramas.
If you feel comfortable then go for it.
I know they are a bit pricey (IMO!!) but you could get one of those monitors that have the motion detector too. You can't put a price on peace of mind!
