Smithy - did you get that numbing stuff from the chemist to get them done? My kids haven't had theirs done yet but a friend of mine had her little girl done and the girl that did them told her to go to the chemist and get this stuff to rub on her eyes to make them numb before hand but I have no idea what it was called ... I was just wondering if anyone else knows

I think it might be the same stuff they put on DD1's arm when the doctor thought she might need a blood test ...

oh hun ,no i didnt actually i had no idea you could get that stuff hun,gee i wish i had of known though lol she screamed her head off but im sure it was the noise of the 2 guns going off,not sure,yes i know it would have hurt a little bit but i always find the burning hotness is worse after wards iykwim
but im sorry my sweet i have no idea what its called.

Apparently having them done through a piercer is better than getting them done with the gun as there is less trauma to the area which results in a shorter healing period and I think it can be better for avoiding infections as there is little to no bruising unlike with a gun. I am planning to get Anelise's ears pierced through a local piercer. It is probably more expensive though.
