I did not use any of the baby non-soap products in DS/ bath until very recently, and he's 18months now.

He had what I considered a bad case of eczema at 4 months *while exclusively b/f). I tried every natural remedy I could before getting a referral to the paed, who prescribed elocon (steroid creme but I think not cortisone)

It was gone in 3 days. Sometimes he has a bit every now and then, but it has never been as bad as that first episode.

I also use QV balm on his skin as it tends to be dry, especially his legs.

Not sure on the food allergies, but I know that soy allergies are pretty common as well as dairy.
