Here goes..

*Plonk her in the middle of the laundry you are folding and gently brush the different materials against her skin like terry towling and cotton and lace. It will feel nice for her and you get the folding done!

*Pop her in the pram and set her up next to a window or glass door she can see out of. Point out the differnt things she can see (For hot days when you don't really want to be outside walking)

*In the warm weather let her have lots of nappy free time on a towel or sheet (althoug my bub hated having her nappy off when she was this little)

*Put her in washing basket (if she fits comfortably) on the floor and gently throw some material like a towel or cotton sheet over the top and say "wheres DD?" then pull off material with the "here she is! I found you" . Repeat until the novelty wears off! Reason I say washing basket is so the sides keep the material from covering her face.

*Blow bubbles for her

*Lots of books & singing songs. Keep yourself amused too and sing songs you like not just nursery rhymes

* Put the radio on and dance around the living room to P!nk with DD in your arms

*Give DD house tours - "this is the bathroom, that's where we get clean, this is your bedroom or will be oneday" I remember my DD being suprised one day when I took her into her room because we never went in there. I had everything in our room and it was this whole new room to explore and show her.

*Anything you do with her where you are talking, holding, comforting, making funny faces, singing - whatever! is entertaining for your bub. YOU are her greatest toy at this stage.
