Any chance they are based on the length of the baby?
So maybe:
56=0000
62=000
68=00
Just a thought.
Hey guys,
I got given a whole bunch of baby clothes from somebody from Holland - only problem is they are all labelled in European sizes, and i tried googling a conversion, but still couldn't find out what they were in Australian sizes.
Does anyone know what the following sizes would be?
56
62
68
Thanks.

Yep, Cally is right... It's European sizing based on length/height of the child...
56 - 0000
62 - 000
68 - 00
Yep it is the length.. My family is from Germany and I get asked to sent the heights of my kids all the time for them to send clothing.
awesome, thanks guys! Knew the BB ladies would know the answer![]()
Ok, better go get her into the 56 stuff before she outgrows it... Funny, it looks bigger than her other 0000 stuff. But i guess its like stuff here, depends who makes it. I have 0000 stuff that is more like 000 stuff.
Yep, it does vary. French clothing can be on the smaller side though, from my experience. But maybe they wear their clothes in a more "fitted" manner. I think on the whole Aussies wear their clothing fairly loose.
