I would go.Im worried now but dont want to run off to the hosp and look like an idiot if its nothing.
Honestly, the triage nurses, in my experience, always seem sympathetic to high temps. They won't think you are an idiot!
(I had to take Charlie in a few months back, he had high temps that weren't responding to Panadol, and we took him to hospital, and like you I did feel like a bit of a nelly, but I am glad I did, as they were so sympathetic, and it turned out he had Parvo Virus, which isn't serious, but at least I knew, IYKWIM?)
If it were me sweets, I would go to the hosp, just to put your mind at rest. He sounds like he is not himself at all, poor little man.
ETA, just had a thought.......are you able to ring your GP and tell them the situation? Do they so emergency appts for babies? That may be a good compromise....although they may end up suggesting you take him to hosp anyway?
Good luck. xx
