If you are worried go to your gp or the local hospy - though the wait is likely to be long at the hospital...

Can you give him some tepid baths? That can really help - just so that when you put your forearm into the water you can't really feel the temp - not too cold. If it's too cold he will shiver and this is what will raise his temperature.
I know high temps are really scary in little ones but it's his bodies way of fighting off a bug. It's good to give him the nurofen 4th hourly - if this isn't keeping his temp down I think getting him asessed is a good idea. We often suggest alternating the nurofen with panadol this can help. But do go and see someone. It's late in the day and things are always scarier in the dark of night.

Remember nobody is going to think you are crazy - and if they did bollocks to them! This is your baby and you are worried...
