i'm the opposite, i hate staying at home, cause i either watch the house get trashed, or i get bored ****less, or i feel bad if i'm not being productive. so i head out all the time.
    :yeahthat:

I feel like if I'm home all day, DH comes home and looks around like "what have you been doing all day?!" but if I go out, I have an excuse lol!

I know he doesn't really think that... He says if he get home to happy wife, happy kids and dinner at least planned (if I know what we're cooking) he's fine if the sink is full of dirty dishes and the washing needs to be done!

It's funny you said this though, cause I found this is something my DH does (now he's a SaHD). When I was on Mat Leave with Pip, I would go out quite often - every Tuesday I'd take Pip to the baby reading at the library then go have lunch at a nice cafe, and then I'd go to the mums & bubs session at the cinema - all with walking. Now I have no problem taking Pip anywhere - for 10 mins or a whole day, I know it's easier to arrange a whole day than 10mins!!!!

DH on the other hand didn't go anywhere with Pip and he now won't take Pip out if there's a possibility of Pip needing food / drink / toilet.

Just get out there! If you keep your nappy bag packed at all times, then you'll find it easier and easier to get out - I grabbed a large cosmetic bag for the car, and kept just 2 nappies, a couple of wipes in a snap-lock bag (can revitalise them with a little water) and a bandana to change him on. And that is literally all I'd need to go out! You'll work it out, and be fine - just take that first step.

I'm the same as boobaloo and OP. I hate being stuck at home to much.
Even now at 30wks pregnant i have to get out of the house everyday that i'm not working even if it's just for a coffee or going to the park for 20mins.
having said that i am terrible at living in the moment and find i'm always thinking about the next thing i have to do at home. Especially now as i'm desperate to nest but with work and a 2 yr old it's impossible. I also feel really guilty if i don't play with Olive enough at home and am a little more house work orientated then normal atm.

Yep that was me until recently, i went out for MG on a tuesday, i did my food shopping on the same day and that was it... BUT recently i have started walking with another BB girls from my area and i've almost found it easier... crazy right.
I clean the kitchen after the girls go to bed at night, i get up we have breakfast rinse the dishes and pop them in the sink, leave early for our walk, do our walk then library time on a wed & fri, come home, quick lunch, girls in bed and then i clean the lounge and do washing etc, when they wake i clean other things while they follow.
Because we've been out there is actually less mess.. IYKWIM

GL with it all, maybe just set 1 day a week for now as your GO OUT day, go to the shops or the park or for a walk
