Fontenelles are apparently heaps tougher than we think. Just what i've been told - can't remember who by, but it was by a dr or nurse or someone medicalish.

ALso they are slightly sunken so they're more protected. Nature had to design them that way as babies are constantly banging heads, so it's unlikely it's directly touched anyway. Totally understand your concern though xoxo
