I haven't used a grobag, considered it but just never bought one..lol. I do use the suits with the legs though. As for the bed rail, with DS # 1 I didn't use one and he never fell out of bed even though I would find him upside down at times! However, I remember my brother falling out of bed, so it must just depend on the child. I am going to be getting one soon myself so bubs doesn't roll off my bed when he's sleeping with me in the mornings.
