i know this may mean nothing.
but when my DD did that it was due to wind.
i foudn out she was holding on to her wind and it was the formula i was using.
also when did she last poo? and what was it like?
tay used to have really green poos when she was screaming heaps from tummy wind pain.

try a bottle of water maybe.
i dont know. wish i could help some more.

BubNo2 and Kimmy - thanks for ur help and making me laugh!
my peace and quite was short lived - if only i could record her screaming and play on here for all to hear - but im sure u can imagine what is sounds like - anyways i might go run a bath and bring her in with me - she loves her baths, and that way i might get to relax a little also!
and ur right - bugga the washing (for the time being anyway) i will do it when DH gets home and he can than deal with little miss Bianca!

No darling FORGET the washing or get him to put it on . You need to be pampered when he gets home .... its bloody hard work and very draining with your little bub cries and screams all day long. Tomorrow she will be so different just wait! lol

Can you go out for dinner put her in the pram and go and relax with DH ????

You should see my house the kitchen my bedroom ... a bomb has gone off lol i would be in deep **** if my mum popped in even if im 38yrs with a 6 mth old!!!

Days like that are rough!! Do you have a sling or hug a bub?? I remember using the hug a bub a LOT early on with Oskar cos he just wouldn't let me put him down, particularly around dinner time!

Mel, share the love and chocolate around would ya!

Oh Hj I know how you feel, it's sooooo horrible when they get like this! Hayden's done it a few times, they just don't know what they want!!!
    Is Bianca still asleep???

Hopefully she settles down for you for a while and don't worry about the washing you'll get to it!!!

I really hope things have improved this arvo! I don't really have any advice for you as I'm a newbie like you to. Maybe when your DH gets home he could take Bianca for a walk/drive to give you a break! You sound like you need one!

hun, it is really hard some days but I promise you it does get easier. Dont forget you've only just had a baby, your body still isn't back to "normal", you're still going to be more tired than you would have pre-pregnancy etc

Dont beat yourself up, you're doing a wonderful job... posting on here asking for help shows what a good mummy you are trying to find a way to help your baby girl (& yourself, but a happy mummy=happy baby!)

I hope you got a well deserved break when your DH came home... not meaning to be sexist but alot of men dont really understand how mentally draining it can be with a new baby to look after. (Well at least my DH doesnt! I hope your does)

Oh you poor thing. Im going through the same with my DD atm.
Have you tried giving her a warm bath? She may have a bit of wind maybe? Even try some cooled boiled water if shes FF. You can even try some panadol. It will help calm her down and if shes in pain can help that too.
hope shes better for you soon.

Thank you all SO very much for your hugs, help and support yesterday!
DH got home took her off my hands for a bit while i got all the washing done (yes i know i should of left it but couldnt).
She carried on screaming up until 2030 last night when we eventually got her down to bed for her first proper sleep all day - she slept intil 0530 this morning - no doubt she was very warn out!
i crashed in bed not long after her - i was totally exhausted - still have no idea what was the problem - i guess it might of just been one of those days!

Thank you everyone for keeping me sane!
hopefully we have a better day today!
