    Having a rough day

I am going insane here today!
All Bianca wants to do is scream on the top of her lungs! she will only stop if im holding her, but than after awhile she gets cranky with me holding her so i put her down and she starts screaming again!
its a no win situation and it is frustrating me! im tired, have had a splitting headache for past 2 days - have a heap of washing to do, but cant do cause she wont let me leave her! im at my wits end and just dont know what else to do!

Hey hun, I'm not that useful as I don't have my bubba yet but just wanted to send you big HUGS.

I'd tend to say, forget the washing for now, take care of yourself and your girl.

Maybe popping her in the car or the pram and going out and about for a while might help? I know the initial effort might feel huge but I always find that a change of scenery makes a huge difference, and I know my nephew always falls asleep when he's on the move.

    GOOD LUCK!

we had some days like this at around the same age, i agree if you can get out for a drive/walk it will be worth it for both of you. Do you think she could be going through a growth spurt? How often is she drinking bottles/feeding?
As for the washing, wash what you need forget about the rest, and if all else fails hun, leaving her cry while you get a few jobs done won't hurt her if its for a short time but try not to worry about what you're not getting done, we all have days like this, just trust it will pass soon xxx

Thanks Kat - i did take her for a drive down to the shops and that kept her a little quiter but i still had to carry her around, she wouldn't go in her pram -
i have also gone walking around the block, but nope cld hear her a mile away!
have given her a bath and that stopped her, but as soon as i took her out she started again! she is doing my head in!
the hugs have made me feel a bit better tho thanku! when she cries like this thats all i wanna do, but having the bth of us crying would be a complete disastor! hahaha

Kimmy - i swear Bianca goes thru a growth spurt every week! however today she has been drinking more - she usually goes 3hrs between feeds but that hasnt been happening!
she is in the lounge room screaming now - but its breaking my heart listening to her! and if the neighbours were home they would think i was murdering her! thats how bad she sounds!

    Hi There,

I know it doesnt seem like it now but things will get better and a whole lot easier!
Try to take it easy and take care of yourself as well. Your little girl needs lots of hugs and kisses right now.
Ava used to love going for a walks, sitting in her baby swing your hanging out with me in the baby sling.
Might help to pay a visit to your GP if it continues.
Hope things look up soon. Let us know how it goes.
    Lots of hugs!!!!

I have never been able to let DS scream either it just tears you apart doesn't it!
Just do whatever you need to do to get through the day, if she wants to feed more often let her, she might be trying to tell you she needs a bit more because she might be growing. try reading, singing, little peek a boo games anything that works
Am thinking of you hope it gets better soon for you xxx

    Hi
I remember when my son whos 6 1/2 mths (where does the time go lol) when he was 2 mths he did exactly what your describing. He cried for 12 hours no joke .From 12 md til 12mn... he drank pood weed was cuddled etc etc but nothing helped except when i rang the MCN hotline... the lovely nurse said 'the baby is getting rid of energy and the only way they get rid of it is through crying', pooing and weeing' she went on and said its the babys way of re balancing their little bodies! When their bodies feel better they will fall asleep! Sure enough this happened every 7 days or so like she said. But it didnt last too long!

    I hope that helps

    Cheers Ainsley

Quickly and swiftly put her down in her cot/bassinett or just next to you on the couch as she may just want to be near you as well.. FORGET the washing girl... and if your husband says 'why isnt it done say well there is the washing machine and powder off you go lol'
Then go and get a glass of wine and ENJOY!
