Hugs hun! I agree with MadB, do whatever you have to do to keep your DD from working herself into a state. It will pass (DS goes through stages like that too, without gagging/vomiting but stiil works him self up). I take DS to bed with us even though I end up with a sore back/head/neck most of the time, and he's usually OK after a few days. He's doing it again ATM, so I'm expecting a night visitor tonight
