Sounds like the mucous more than the soup hon. DD is not a spewy kid at all but she has spewed when she's had terrible congestion from head colds.

You know how gross you feel when you keep swallowing mucous, it makes you feel quite sick and you'd just like to get rid of it. Kids tend to keep swallowing it and often it gets too much and comes back up.

As for not wanting his bottle, he's probably worked out the milk only makes the congestion feel worse, not to mention he wouldn't be interested if he felt off anyway. DD was like that when she did her last big mucous spew (from a head cold) a few months back.

I hope your DS is feeling better soon hon. He probably feels a lot better clearing the mucous.
