Yep dymadon or chemists own are both nicer tasting than panadol.
Or nurofen.

Probably not the best way but I tell DD she can have a lolly afterwards. I let her hold the lolly squirt it into her mouth and quickly tell her to pop the lolly into her mouth!

I agree Dymadon. Same thing as panadol but is orange flavour. If s/he wont take it from the syringe, try putting it on a spoon.

My DS vomits on contact with paracetamol (every brand!) - don't know why, but he is 5 and it has always been the case. Every now and then if he needs it I will try oral and every time... straight back at me. He can't have ibuprofen due to other health issues. If he absolutely needs paracetamol I use the suppositories. Just make sure you use a generous amount of lubricant!!

We use Dymadon paracetamol. It's the only stuff we can give that doesn't get spat back in our faces!

Suppositories here as well....for DD#3, whom is 3yrs old. I used to pretend i was changing her nappy, DH used to stand at her head and distract her, now she usually knows whats going on, still doesnt seem to bother her....
She refuses to take it orally....and i guess you gotta do what you gotta do. They work a lot faster too than panadol taken orally...
