I got DS some lined fleece suits from Target. He's the same, wont stay under the blankets and then when he wears pyjamas, likes to take his pants off! The ones i got are brilliant and come in big sizes too. Atm target have a 20% off sale on them so get in quick. Youll get them for $19.95.

We have a very active 2 year old who is just the same - he will not stay under his covers either! He sleeps in a singlet, a pair of long sleeve, long leg bonds cotton pyjamas and a think fleece sleep suit from target. If it is really cold night I also put socks on him. We have a block out blind plus thermal curtains on his window as well. It seems to do the trick.

We have the same issue with our son. I am just weaning lol him into winter jammies now . Although we don't get winters as cold as yours our nights are genrally 13 sometimes a degree or 2 lower but rarely

When we go camping we have bought all in one suits and use socks as well and a beanie

Thank you everyone for your suggestions. Will be heading to Target this weekend so will check out their suits.

We use the Target suits too, but also have a column heater in the room. If you have one with a thermostat you can keep it on a temp low enough to warm the room but without being hot enough to burn if they accidentally touch it.

Thanks for this post - I just realised that DD also needed some new sleep suits coming in to winter and I picked up a couple at Target on sale WooHoo!

I saw those Target suits as well and thought they were great. Nice bold colours with cute pictures. I am considering getting a couple for visiting as we have relatives in cold areas.
