Cool How many feel guilty for not feeling guilty??

I just feel like such a bad mum coz im not one of those mums that "cant BARE to be away from their baby!" i have to work, i have to get things done, she is seriously better off with Nana who will fuss all over her than with me who will sit her on the floor and get things done or send her off to DC wile at work (or not work and be broke)
I just feel bad that i DONT feel guilty coz i seem to be able to walk away from her and leave her without feeling all that bad!!
Dont get me wrong i LOVE her to death and if i didnt have to work it would be soo soo awesome but i do and im just trying to make the moast of everythign i guess!!
and now she's growing up and doing so many new things i feel like imnot around her enough to be the one to see all her firsts when realisticly i work 20 hours a week which is NOTHINg really lol
im just being so stupid lol
    vent over hehe

i hate being away from DD while i work - but i don't feel guilty about doing it! she is looked after, she is happy - i walk away, i work, i go home and enjoy my little girl! my only issue is that work is so boring and i actually miss the ongoing conversations that i have with an 11 month old that can't talk properly! lol

i know i need to work for financial reasons so i dont' feel bad about leaving her - i just miss her company.

I'm a part time uni student, so only on campus for roughly 6-8 hours a week, my mum babysits my 7 month old while i'm gone, I don't feel guilty because I know i'm doing something to create a better future for my girls

My girls go to their dads every second weekend, and well i will be honest and say i enjoy my time off from being a mum.

I miss them a heap dont get me wrong, but i dont feel guilty about enjoying time to myself. It keeps me sane otherwise i would be doing my head in.

I don't feel guilty when I am at work.. I sometimes do feel guilty when I am just at home when DD is in DC, but only when she cries when I am dropping her off

I feel the same - I need time to myself every once in a while, even if I just leave the kids with DH to go to the shops for an hour or two. Being a mum is 24/7, so you need to take time for yourself without feeling guilty about doing so. You know your DD is being looked after well while your away so there's nothing to feel guilty about.

Gosh No!!!! LOL. If that makes me a bad mother because I can't wait to get away from them sometimes then so be it, I'll cop it on the chin. Seriously though, when they were little babies I didn't like to be away from them for too long at all, but as they got older I realised that they need the break away from me as much as I need it from them so there was never any guilt and I sure don't feel guilty for not feeling guilty LOL.

Not at all. I know how much I love my children. But to keep me insane, I need 'me' time as well. I am no longer working, but I still enjoy going out for coffee, for dinner, to see a movie etc. When I go out, I leave them in very capable hands of either their grandparents or other family members. So no, no guilt here either.

I haven't started work yet, but when I go to poker once every now and then with DH and we've left him at my ILs place, I never feel bad because I know that he's being well looked after and that they dote on him anyway
    gorgeous, don't worry at all
