DD2 has always been a VERY clingy girl, at one stage i couldn't leave a room without her screaming the house down, she would be attached to me everywhere i went and wouldn't even go to her dad.
Now she's on the move a bit she's a little more open to other people, she's still fed to sleep at night but she's down to roughly 3 feeds a day and is generally ok being passed around for cuddles even if i leave the room.
If i come back in she wants me straight away but i think she is kind of at that stage now where i could leave she might get upset but then she would be ok again until i see her.
We went to MIL's work fete on the w/end and for the first tiem EVER DD2 was happy to go to her nanna and walk away without me and sit and not scream
Now sadly i have found out a friends little girl is in RCH with a tumour in her stomach and i am wanting to go and see them, i had promised MIL i would take the girls to visit tomorrow after our walk and library time so i was thinking maybe just maybe i could get there, give the girls their lunch and give DD2 a feed and then LEAVE THEM BOTH for an hour or so while i go in and see Eb.
Do you think it's ok to just up and leave her, i have NEVER left her with anyone, not even to run down the street as she's ALWAYS been that bad, she wont take EBM and she doesn't have a dummy but i think she will be ok if i feed her first and then just go.
Hmmm i'm nearly talking myself out of it, i KNOW she will be ok, i just worry MIL wont watch DD1 when eating chocolate etc and she might accidently give it to DD2... ahhhhh i need to cut the cord.
I MIGHT FINALLY GET SOME ME TIME even if it is under horrible circumstances, but it could open up a doorway for me.. maybe she will like it and i might just be able to take her there and go have a day to myself in the city...
What do you think, should i see how we go tomorrow or should i just feed her and walk out the door, or should i take her with me and leave DD1 at her nans?
