Little red dots on DD's face

Hi All,

My baby has little red dots all over her face. I think it is from my breast milk as it always squirts in her face.

I wipe her face down before I feed (too scared to wipe her after a feed incase she wakes up). Although, during her sleep, she always have milk running down her face again.

How do I get rid of these red dots? and is it common?

How old is she?

Charlie had red dots all over his face until he was about 6 weeks old, and apparently it has to do with the pores on their face not quite coping with their bodily secretions as yet. My MCN told me it would disappear of its own accord in a month or so, and it did.

Apparently it's quite common for newborns.

DS had them til 8-9 weeks, they covered his face and anywhere on his head that I touched him
Theyre very normal, as long as there isnt any pus you should be fine

Natty had them too, I can't remember how long for but it was at least 6 weeks... Newborn skin isn't really all that lovely, LOL! I think it becomes lovely after a couple of months
Also, there could be something in the moisture thing - DD blows raspberries and gets red dots on her chin (spit rash) if I don't mop it up straight away.
