Kim - wow, that is such a generous offer! Thank you, I'd love some if you could spare it??

Evie - So are you just putting it on his head, leaving it for a bit and then washing it off, waiting for it to dry and then brushing it? Or are you doing it in the bath and shampooing his hair first? I tried it again last night and it did get a little off but he still has heaps. Maybe I just need to keep doing it till it's all gone. Will do it again tonight.

Willow - sounds like a lot of work, doesn't it? I wrap him in a towel (so his arms don't get in the way) and put his head in the crook of my elbow over the hand basin with some warm water in it. I wash his hair with the shampoo, rinse and then put the conditioner. I stand there with me gurgling at him for a couple of minutes and then rinse. Then I put him in the bath with his brother if it's afternoon bath time. If it's the morning hair wash session, I just dress him. After the bath/hair wash I just let his hair dry and then brush it. He still has dry skin on his head, but the brown crusty stuff is gone. I suppose I could moisturise his head - but I like how fluffy his hair goes with the conditioner. He looks too cute!! It's a mummy's prerogative.

Hey guys, just wanted to pop back in and say we are having some success with the moogoo milk wash. I gave up on all the oils and conditioners and stuff cause they just weren't working. Have just been washing his hair with the milk wash every night in the bath and it has improved heaps! He still has it but all the white, dry, flakiness is gone. You can still see it if you look but it's not obvious anymore.

So my theory is that the aroma baby stuff I was using was probably drying out his skin (I think all of those 'natural/organic/no chemical' baby brands are very heavily perfumed, so maybe that's why )

Anyway, I'm hoping if I keep using it eventually it will all go away.

The MSM cream is doing wonders for his face too It is almost completely blemish free now. Have been using it at least twice a day, mainly on his cheeks and haven't had to use the cortisone cream for about 2-3 weeks now. Pretty good stuff

Hmmmmmmmmmm........... in that case I might get some of the moogoo stuff. While the conditioner his killed of the stinky cradle cap, DS2 still has a very dry, flaky scalp.

I think I'll buy some online. Thanks Willow.

No worries Evie, I hope you're as happy with it as we are. You can get a shampoo too but I figured the milk wash was a better all rounder iykwim? I wash his body with it too - smells divine!!

Kim - the scalp cream arrived today...THANK YOU SO MUCH! So do I just rub it in like a moisturiser and leave it? Or do I need to wash it off?

I'm also curious as to if you need to wash off the MooGoo scalp cream - Haven't been putting it on morning & night cause I wasn't sure how to wash it off if I needed to. I had (when I remembered) been putting it on mid afternoon and then just before DS's bath and then washing it out with Johnson's baby shampoo but didn't think of a conditioner.
