What is going on?! DD has always been a pretty good sleeper unless she's sick or teething but the past few weeks or so she's turned into a monster at night! Lately I've been up with her at least a couple of times a night and often it's taking me 2 hours to resettle herWe've had to bring her into our bed several times just to get some sleep and as much as I love waking up with my little girl, DH and I quite like having our bed to ourselves. We've only co-slept a handful of times since DD was born and it's just not for us. DD has never needed it before so I really don't want that to be our 'solution' to her current sleep issues.
I'm really struggling with the lack of sleep and it doesn't help that she won't have a bar of her dad at all when she wakes at night. The one time I forced DH to deal with her (a few week ago) she spewed all over DH, herself and our bedThat incident has made things difficult to be a bit 'tough' on her now as she is getting herself so worked up that she gags and I don't want to be cleaning up vomit at 2am if I can avoid it.
DD has never been a clingy child but she's screaming out for me when she wakes and just clings to me until she falls asleep but then screams out as soon as I put her in her cot. When I bring her into bed with us, she has to lay on me which is proving uncomfy already for me at 13 weeks pregnant.
I just don't know what to do. I'm at my whitsend. Her routine hasn't changed, she's happy enough during the day and her day sleeps are fine (middle of the day sleep for 2-3 hours). I just don't get it
Any ideas? Sleep regression? Molars? Just a phase? HELP!
