Hi Marlene,

keep in mind that a fever is the bodies natural way of fighting any bugs; so a fever alone should not be cause of concern... she says from hundred's of km's away

The fact he has no other symptoms is a good sign. Fever can be caused by many things, pain, illness etc. It may be that he has some movement in his gums which is causing discomfort... or he may be coming down with a cold. If the temp is not bothering him, let him fight it naturally and keep him cool (tepid water or let him go in shorts and a shirt... crazy idea in this kind of weather but it is fine to do).
Many health care professionals recomend seeking medical advice if a fever in an infant persists longer than 48hrs.

HTH. Enjoy the cuddles!
