    Thanks everyone for your posts.

Rowellen - I thought of that but because we're BF she is getting all of those probiotics through the breast milk!

Times like these i am extra glad we are still BF'ing as she hasn't taken much else!!! She's drinking plenty of water too luckily so she's not dehydrated. Had some tinned fruit pieces tonight for dinner so that's something.

Oh the poor little love! Hope she's feeling better soon.

I second Rowellen's pro biotics. When Darcy started CC she got tonsillitis really badly 4 times in four months. You could see the pus and smell it! erck. Then there was the thrush....some suggested the pro biotics and she picked up so quick.

honey. If it makes you feel better, I'm a nurse and earlier this year I made my DD suffer through two days of high fevers and complaining before I took her to the GP where we were given a LAUGHING diagnosis of tonsillitis! (If I didn't know my GP so well I'd have clocked them for laughing! It was one of those "You dill" kind of laughs). She was so bad that I almost took her to the hospital that night for IV fluids...

Keep pushing the fluids and panadol (I also gave neurofen at the same time as panadol for pain relief) and keep up the AB's. She should pick up withing 48 hours.

Thanks lovelies. She's drinking plenty of water and breastfeeds so is well hydrated thankfully!

She's much more herself today, so I think the worst is over. Temps don't seem so bad.

MG - thanks, don't worry my DD had high temps for 2 days before I even took her to GP!! Thinking it was maybe just teething! You feel awful huh
